As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time / Graveyard Shift Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues. Monitor access to the property by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed by site procedures, and reporting unauthorized access attempts. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and incoming personnel. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
