Sous Chef-New Restaurant Opening!
Downtown Chicago, IL

Salary: Up to $75,000 annually, plus a 20% bonus!

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Executive Chef to innovate and execute a diverse menu that reflects seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and presentation meet our exacting standards.
Mentor and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Manage inventory and control food costs without compromising on quality.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:

3-4 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale dining kitchen.
Proven background in scratch kitchen cooking with a focus on creative, high-quality dishes.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
