Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients through advanced testing techniques, including range of motion assessments, strength tests, and functional evaluations, to identify impairments and establish a tailored treatment plan.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, aligning treatment goals with physician recommendations while being adaptable to changes based on patient response.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to deliver safe and effective patient care.
• Educate and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, self-management strategies, and preventative measures to ensure continuity of care beyond the clinic.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and provide insightful recommendations regarding adaptive equipment and treatment adjustments.
• Oversee and mentor support staff and non-professional personnel in patient treatment techniques, ensuring adherence to safety and care standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic services a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and neurological disorders. You will work closely with patients of varying ages and conditions, providing tailored interventions that address their unique rehabilitation needs. Your ability to foster strong therapeutic relationships will be key in motivating patients on their road to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is mandatory.
• A clear and unblemished record with respect to licensure and professional disciplinary history.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and experience in creating and implementing exercise regimens tailored to individual patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for tracking patient progress and documenting treatment plans.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Certification in specialized therapy techniques (e.g., sports rehabilitation, manual therapy) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
