Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office located in Trenton, New Jersey. As a Physical Therapist with Dynamic Care Psychotherapy, you will be part of a collaborative team environment where professional development is encouraged. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Dynamic Care Psychotherapy, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and symptoms to determine their needs effectively.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific requirements.
• Teaching patients proper therapeutic exercise techniques to enhance their recovery and mobility.
• Administering therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and massage, to assist in the healing process.
• Providing guidance and support in the use of mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and walkers, to promote independence.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, documenting progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve patient-centric goals.
• Educating patients and their families about at-home treatment options and exercises to facilitate continuous rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient demographic, including children and adults with various physical conditions ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing patients' quality of life through personalized care methods. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with team members.
• Proficient in word processing and other computer skills necessary for documentation and patient management.
• A flexible and agile approach to adapting treatment plans based on patient progress.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome new graduates, we prefer candidates with at least two years of experience in physical therapy, specifically within an outpatient setting. Experience in pediatric therapy or specialized rehabilitation programs may give candidates an edge in this role.
