Academic Success Center Support Staff (Non-Faculty) Position Title Academic Success Center Support Staff (Non-Faculty) Position Number N99955 Department Frederick Douglass Academic Success Center Location Morehouse College - Atlanta, GA Overview Under supervision of the Center’s Director, the Academic Success Center Support Staff will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks: maintaining the operation of the computer lab/printing services and providing technological support for students, faculty and staff daily. Additionally, the support staff keeps supply inventory, assist with event preparation, offers instructions in usage of equipment and software packages, and monitors student activities throughout the Center. Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have integrated computer skills and knowledge of computer applications Knowledge of information technology, data storage, and backup software Comfortable with crowds. Physical Demands Provide administrative and technical support to unit; trouble shoot when necessary Serve as liaison to Information Technology Services ( ITS ) Monitor facility and equipment Maintain daily attendance utilization records and weekly reports Assist with event set-up and break-down Assist with the maintenance of the facility’s appearance Maintain exemplary personal deportment Must display a positive and willing attitude to support the aims of the FDASC Assist with the dissemination of materials to students about campus resources and services Promote programming and marketing of services Provide supplemental tutoring, when appropriate Contribute to customer service and general office duties: Help maintain a master calendar Deliver interoffice mail Must be responsible and able to work independently of close supervision Must be a self-starter and show initiative in performing job responsibilities Must be prompt and a great steward of time management Must respect the confidentiality of the office Must understand and be willing to carry out the duties as outlined Posting Information Posting Number S1335P Number of Vacancies 1 Job Open Date 01/23/2026 Job Close Date Open Until Filled No EEO Statement Summary Morehouse College is an equal opportunity employer.
