Responsibilities
- Support the estimating process for various projects including compressor stations, pipelines, and other oil and gas type projects
- Develop detailed cost estimates, bid proposals, and project budgets
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Review and validate estimates, including labor, materials, and production rates
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare complete estimates
- Monitor market trends, material pricing, and labor costs to ensure competitive positioning
- Support preconstruction efforts and participate in project handoff to operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
- Experience in oil & gas industrial construction projects
- Must have experience with Navisworks 3D and Bluebeam for drawing ISO's and as-builts
- Proven experience managing complex bids and delivering accurate estimates
- Proficiency in estimating software and strong Excel skills
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
