Stipend - ESY Paraprofessional - (Middle School) (Internal Only) (Summer 2026) Number of positions is to be determined (estimated 5). General Duties: The paraprofessional's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assists, supports, and works closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing educational support for Special Education classrooms. Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced and outlined by licensed staff. Assists the teacher in special strategies for reinforcing learning materials and skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities. Monitors work, supervises curriculum-based testing and makeup work, as assigned by the staff. Assists in classroom and instructional duties as assigned by the teacher. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a current paraprofessional in the grades listed above. Compensation: $1760 Stipend Dates/Time: Summer school work and planning includes, but not limited to the summer school schedule which is: Summer School will run from June 29 - July 23. Educator hours are 8AM-12PM.
