Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused techniques to create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement an array of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other recognized modalities to foster client growth and resilience.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, ensuring your practice meets the highest standards of professionalism and ethical integrity.
• Engage consistently with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to coordinate care plans and enrich the therapeutic experience for clients.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review sessions, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and staying informed about the latest mental health research and methodologies.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment paths, and community support options, empowering them to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.
• Utilize innovative electronic health record systems to streamline patient management, ensuring that your focus remains primarily on client care rather than administrative tasks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily target individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. By cultivating a safe and nurturing environment, you will assist clients from diverse backgrounds in achieving their mental health goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and the ability to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each client is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are critical, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of direct experience providing psychotherapy in an outpatient setting is preferred.
