Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy to clients experiencing major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, employing evidence-based practices to guide treatment.

• Conduct thorough assessments to inform diagnosis and treatment plans, using tools such as the DSM-5 for risk assessment and crisis intervention.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and behavioral health specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for each client.

• Document clinical activities accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems, maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing insights and strategies to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

• Engage with families and community resources, providing education and support to foster a more robust recovery environment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals in detoxification and early recovery phases, many of whom contend with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. You will work with a diverse client population, embracing a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program and current LCSW license in Georgia.
