Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ psychosocial needs through interviews and direct observations, using a variety of clinical tools and methodologies.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that address mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, and substance use, providing individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Maintain collaborative communication with healthcare providers and patients’ families to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing recovery outcomes.

• Document all clinical interactions and treatment progress accurately in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with best practices in healthcare documentation.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, utilizing therapeutic techniques to manage acute situations and support patient safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on adults experiencing a range of substance use challenges and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will engage with individuals during a critical time in their recovery journey, offering support and resources that help them build resilience and develop coping strategies. Working in this setting requires an understanding of the complex emotional and psychological needs of patients facing addiction and mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, required.

• Current and active LCSW licensure in the state of California, with a strong standing in professional practice.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting or social work environment with a focus on mental health and substance use disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
