Legal Translator and Editor

Seeking a qualified freelance English-to-Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional) Legal Translator and/or Editor, this remote contract position will provide ongoing translation and editing services for legal documentation, requiring strong legal terminology skills and the ability to deliver high-quality work. Key responsibilities Translate and edit legal documents from English to Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional) Ensure accuracy and adherence to legal terminology and standards Manage assignments remotely, meeting deadlines and client expectations Required qualifications A minimum of three years of professional experience in legal translation and/or editing Native-level proficiency in both Chinese and English writing Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. legal and judicial terminology Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, translation, or a related field Experience with computer-assisted translation tools, preferably Trados
