Work Environment

Your role as a Physical Therapist will involve working onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient services. We offer a flexible schedule, with work hours primarily from Monday through Friday, allowing you to choose your own hours to accommodate your personal and professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations in order to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique conditions.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and the use of modalities to facilitate recovery and enhance strength and mobility.
• Continuously assess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed to help them achieve their therapeutic goals effectively.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment methods, self-management techniques, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence.
• Document all treatment sessions and maintain accurate records of patient progress and program effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest industry practices by attending workshops and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position involves working closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, traumatic injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Your ability to adapt treatment approaches tailored to the varying needs of children and adults will be critical in fostering successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (DPT) in Florida.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate of Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and patient management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle a diverse caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in a rehabilitation or home care setting.
• Experience working with children and adults is highly desirable.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits
