Position Title: Assistant GM- Corporate Dining (Miami, FL) Salary: $85,000/Yr. - $90,000/yr. Other Forms of Compensation: Benefits Job Summary Working as the Assistant General Manager for a premier corporate dining account in Miami, FL, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of daily operations in accordance with R/A brand standards and client expectations. This position offers a desirable Monday through Friday schedule. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws Manage a team—interview, hire, train, and coach employees Participate in employee meetings and training programs Maintain account financials—prepare and monitor budgets, flash reports, financial targets and forecasts Perform related duties and special projects as assigned Preferred Qualifications Minimum of three years of upscale food service experience Excellent leadership and organizational skills, flexible and adaptable to constant changes and must possess attention to detail Effective problem‑solving and conflict management skills Knowledge of HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food Ability to review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safety Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Exceptional business etiquette and client relations Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus Background Screening Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
