This position is entirely remote, which allows counselors to remain accessible to clients without the need to commute to a physical office. You will work in an outpatient setting, conducting virtual therapy sessions and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. We utilize state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain up-to-date records and facilitate seamless communication within our practice, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health status during initial consultations.

• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on each client’s unique needs and goals.

• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities and techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring adequate support between sessions, and adapting treatment as necessary.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for shared experiences and collective healing.

• Collaborate with external providers such as psychiatrists to coordinate client care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Place emphasis on crisis intervention techniques, addressing urgent mental health issues effectively and calmly.

• Continuously evaluate and document client progress in compliance with all legal and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Wise Mind Psychotherapy Services, you will engage with a diverse clientele facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse disorders. Your expertise in treating a wide array of mental health conditions will enable you to make a significant impact on each of your clients’ lives, assisting them in overcoming barriers and reaching their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is required.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, effective treatment methodologies, and the importance of culturally responsive therapy.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and group therapy while being aware of and sensitive to diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and a composed presence in challenging situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and other digital applications related to patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
