Operations Specialist

A leading specialty insurance organization is looking to add an Operations Specialist to its Optimization and Transformation team. This is a hybrid role based in New Jersey for an experienced insurance operations professional with a strong background in process improvement, operating model design, and cross-functional transformation initiatives. Responsibilities Conduct structured discovery sessions with Underwriting, Claims, Sales, and Operations teams to map current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design future-state operating models Serve as an ongoing business process partner to field teams, providing continuous advisory support for process innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives Lead gap analyses, capability assessments, and executive reporting — presenting transformation roadmaps and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders Qualifications 3+ years of experience in insurance operations within a wholesale agency, MGA, or carrier environment, with a focus on process improvement and operational transformation Demonstrated experience designing future-state operating models, leading platform migrations, or supporting digital transformation initiatives Strong process mapping skills and comfort presenting complex business cases to executive leadership; Lean Six Sigma certification a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
