Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, employing standardized evaluation tools and techniques.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring therapies are adapted to meet individual client profiles.

• Provide education to patients and their families about mood disorders, including describing treatment modalities and self-care techniques to enhance understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress throughout the therapeutic journey, utilizing tracking tools to adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by effectively communication with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to promote cohesive, well-rounded client care.

• Regularly participate in professional development through case consultations and training sessions, staying current on advances in mood disorder research and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals who are affected by mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. As a therapist, you will provide personalized support and strategies to empower clients in managing their mental health, fostering resilience and hope.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals effectively.

• Demonstrated history of delivering positive outcomes in treating mood disorders, showcasing expertise and dedication to client care.

• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to create meaningful connections with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
