Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments for clients experiencing mood disorders to measure the severity, duration, and frequency of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique personal goals and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically tailored for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Track and monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment, adjusting the treatment plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to care.

• Stay current with the latest research in mental health to inform and enhance treatment approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation, including session notes, assessments, and treatment plans, in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to refine clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients to reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders and promote mental health awareness within the community.

The primary clientele for this position consists of individuals grappling with mood disorders, which may include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and related conditions. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Two years of post-licensure experience with a specialization in mood disorders is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
