Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct supportive individual therapy sessions that focus on each patient’s specific mental health needs.

• Document patient interactions meticulously, ensuring all progress notes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Assist in orienting new patients and their families to the clinic, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

• Assess and respond to each patient’s personal needs, offering support as required to enhance their therapeutic experience.

• Provide crisis management by identifying and reporting any changes in a patient’s behavior and demonstrating knowledge of warning signs of aggressive behavior.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to review treatment plans and share insights on patient progress towards therapy goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating a strong background in mental health counseling.

• Proficiency with the DSM-5 for diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for building rapport with clients and working as part of a team.
