Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations to understand clients’ emotional and behavioral health.

• Document detailed case histories, ensuring continuity of care from initial assessment through treatment completion.

• Design and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on clinical assessments.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster healing and growth.

• Evaluate and monitor clients’ progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop comprehensive intervention plans.

• Conduct follow-ups with clients and healthcare providers for those requiring hospitalization to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing support.

• Educate and support family members on managing challenges associated with mental health conditions, promoting a collaborative approach to recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on diverse clients who come from various backgrounds, presenting a wide range of mental health conditions. These may include anxiety disorders, depression, substance use disorders, trauma-related issues, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• Holding a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possessing current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A proven track record evidenced by passing scores on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that facilitate effective interactions with clients and interdisciplinary team members.

• Demonstrated competence in maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice.

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in a community health setting.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to improve patient care efficiency.

• Knowledge of best practices in mental health as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• An understanding of the effects of various medications prescribed by medical specialists, with the ability to counsel clients appropriately.

• Experience working with clients facing underlying physical health conditions and addiction disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
