As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to manage your work hours within our established schedule, which runs from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Key Responsibilities\n

Your role encompasses a variety of critical tasks aimed at supporting our clients' recovery journeys:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that incorporate evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Provide both individual and group therapy, applying therapeutic techniques that promote emotional regulation, coping skills, and relapse prevention strategies.

• Collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to ensure continuity of care and support integrated treatment strategies.

• Engage clients in regular substance use monitoring and employ motivational interviewing techniques to reinforce their commitment to recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about the connections between mental health and substance use disorders and the importance of complying with treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, following all ethical and legal standards to uphold client confidentiality.

• Participate actively in case conferences and professional development sessions to enhance personal and team skills in treating co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC within the state of California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies specific to co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A comprehensive understanding of the intricate relationships between mental health and substance use disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
