Key Responsibilities\n

• Prepare and maintain detailed progress notes, along with closing and transfer summaries to ensure accurate client documentation and continuity of care.

• Deliver specialized services within the Behavioral Health Department, coordinating and managing specific programs aimed at enriching client care.

• Conduct comprehensive intake interviews with new clients to assess their mental health needs effectively, establishing therapeutic goals that guide treatment.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the client’s unique situations.

• Engage in community outreach to develop resources and partnerships that support preventive mental health services, enhancing local resource networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and families facing varying mental health challenges. Your expertise will address issues such as trauma, addiction, homelessness, and co-occurring disorders. By understanding and empathizing with their situations, you will create safe spaces for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, with a commitment to staying updated on licensure requirements and supervision guidelines.

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in providing crisis management and comprehensive mental health services is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
