Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide essential services from the comfort of your own home. You will engage with clients via teletherapy sessions, ensuring they receive uninterrupted care and support from locations that work for them. Your work hours will primarily be Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, but there will be occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis to accommodate our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, focusing on their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting achievable goals tailored to their unique circumstances and preferences.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively treat mood disorders.

• Provide education to clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment choices, and effective self-care techniques to foster understanding and support.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs and circumstances.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.
\n
• Maintain current knowledge of research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to ensure the best practices in therapy.
\n
• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to refine clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders and elevate awareness of mental health needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse patient population, focusing on individuals navigating various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Patients will range from adolescents to adults, many of whom may face co-occurring disorders, making your role critical in coordinating care and facilitating comprehensive support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based therapy techniques for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds and experiences.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a diverse caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of post-licensure experience working with clients suffering from mood disorders is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in a treatment setting.

• Proven track record in achieving positive treatment outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, with additional opportunities for bonuses, such as a sign-on incentive.
