Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Great Valley Counseling Center, you will:

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, determining their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are responsive to their unique needs, goals, and personal preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, their treatment options, and practical self-care strategies to foster independence and resilience.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting plans as needed to better support their mental health and overall well-being.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure well-rounded and effective treatment for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in treating mood disorders to enhance therapy effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who are experiencing various mood disorders, including those affected by depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clientele encompasses a wide demographic, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Qualifications\n

The right candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
