Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement crisis management strategies, behavioral support plans, and medication treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Utilize clinically validated screening tools to measure and monitor client progress, adapting strategies as necessary.

• Actively participate in all licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest industry standards in mental health services.

• Communicate effectively with service systems, state agencies, and community partners to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with various local, state, federal, and private organizations to foster partnerships that enhance program effectiveness and help secure funding opportunities.

• Engage in continuous personal and professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and providing community outreach presentations.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director that align with organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with diverse populations, including individuals facing emotional challenges, substance use disorders, those with developmental disabilities, and clients recovering from brain injuries. Your role is crucial in providing supportive therapy and practical assistance to guide them through their unique recovery journeys, enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, independent LMHC license valid in Maryland, or willingness for the company to cover licensing fees to obtain one if licensed in another state.
