Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative -Primary Care -Woodbury, NJ

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to serve a primary care territory in New Jersey, promoting innovative medicines and engaging medical professionals. The role combines clinical product knowledge, sales strategy execution, and account management to drive appropriate product utilization and territory performance.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical product benefits and promote Amgen medicines to medical professionals and drive appropriate utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, branded messaging, and educational programs
• Develop and manage customer accounts, customize interactions based on needs, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain contracts
• Analyze sales effectiveness, provide marketing feedback, and collaborate with District Manager on territory strategy and planning
• Demonstrate commitment to patient impact, uphold company values, and share best practices with colleagues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years of sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years of sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's with 3 years of sales or clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6 years combined experience
• Prior pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry sales or marketing experience preferred
• Product sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, or related specialty areas strongly preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to drive sales outcomes
• Local market knowledge and adaptability to core competencies in sales planning, business knowledge, and communication

Compensation: $89,880–$121,600 base annual salary
