Specialty Representative/ Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health - Sunset Park, NY (Overlay)

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for bone health in the Sunset Park, Brooklyn area to deliver clinical product knowledge to medical professionals and drive appropriate utilization. The role involves building customer relationships, executing sales strategies, managing reimbursement issues, and achieving territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate product utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, medical educational programs, and in-person and virtual customer engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships by customizing interactions, ensuring product access, and resolving reimbursement issues
• Analyze sales activity effectiveness, provide market feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Demonstrate commitment to patient outcomes and Amgen values while building brand presence and sharing best practices with colleagues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years sales and/or clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6+ years, or high school diploma with 8+ years
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry sales experience preferred
• Product or hospital sales experience in specialty areas such as oncology, cardiology, inflammation, bone health, or rheumatology preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Local market knowledge of assigned territory preferred
