Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative -Primary Care -West Orange, NJ

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for primary care in the West Orange, NJ territory. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to medical professionals, executing sales strategy, managing customer relationships, and driving appropriate product utilization across oncology, inflammation, general medicine, and rare disease portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate benefits to medical professionals
• Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, delivering branded messages and conducting educational programs
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
• Analyze sales effectiveness, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support Amgen's patient-focused mission

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years sales experience
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industry experience preferred
• Sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, or related specialties preferred
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Local market knowledge and adaptability
