Specialty Representative/ Sr. Specialty Rep- Bone Health - Ridgewood, NJ / Livingston, NJ (Overlay)

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to serve the Newark, Paterson, and Elizabeth territories in New Jersey. The role involves communicating clinical product knowledge to healthcare providers, executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and driving appropriate product utilization in bone health and related therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals
• Deliver branded sales messages, conduct medical education programs, and achieve territory sales targets
• Develop and manage customer accounts, customize interactions, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze sales effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans with District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and demonstrate commitment to patient outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or High school diploma with 6 years sales experience (Specialty Rep)
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6 years, or High school with 8 years (Senior Specialty Rep)
• Preferred: pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience
• Preferred: product or hospital sales in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, or related specialties
• Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills focused on sales outcomes
• Adaptability with sales planning, technical knowledge, communication, and relationship cultivation
