Specialty/ Senior Specialty Representative - Dermatology - Jersey City, NJ

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for dermatology sales in the Jersey City territory. The role involves promoting Amgen products to medical professionals, managing customer relationships, and executing marketing strategy to drive territory sales.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical product knowledge and benefits to medical professionals and drive appropriate product utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, planned programs, and educational initiatives
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, customize interactions based on needs, and manage product contracts
• Analyze territory performance and marketing strategy effectiveness in partnership with District Manager
• Maintain Amgen brand presence while prioritizing patient impact throughout the sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• Senior role: Bachelor's with 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6 years combined experience
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience preferred
• Product or hospital sales experience in specialty areas such as dermatology, oncology, rheumatology, or cardiology
• Strong knowledge of clinical benefits and disease states in assigned therapeutic areas
• Ability to navigate payer environment and resolve reimbursement issues
