This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance. As a telehealth counselor, you will be provided with the necessary technology and tools to conduct virtual therapy sessions efficiently. You will also have access to unlimited client referrals, enabling you to build your caseload seamlessly without the distractions of handling billing and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to deliver effective treatment.

• Provide individual, group, couple, and family therapy sessions, adjusting your approaches based on the diverse needs of your clients.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to enhance the quality of care and ensure comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while complying with state and federal regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals grappling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. Your ability to adapt and relate to a wide range of clients will be essential in providing them with the support and care they need to overcome their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
\n
• At least two years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating your ability to deal with complex client needs.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorder counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting can be advantageous, although we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Compensation and Benefits\n
