Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Moorestown. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients presenting with orthopedic conditions and complex injuries, utilizing a combination of physical assessments and patient history to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Tailor individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments, focusing on evidence-based practice to facilitate optimal recovery and functional outcomes.
• Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and use of modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans and methods in response to ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Provide education and support to patients on rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention strategies, and sustainable home exercise programs to encourage proactive participation in their health journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure cohesive patient care and holistic treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in line with HIPAA regulations and best practices, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on adult patients dealing with orthopedic issues such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The clinic serves a diverse clientele and aims to ensure equitable access to quality rehabilitation services for all members of the community.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree (MPT) is preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in physical therapy, specifically in orthopedic settings or related areas.
• Proven proficiency in assessment and treatment techniques tailored for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills essential for managing patient caseloads effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and build rapport with a wide range of patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient settings, particularly with experience in sports rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, or geriatrics.
• Familiarity with documentation systems and electronic health records (EHR).
• Participation in continuing education and professional development workshops related to physical therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits
