Job Description: Metas Solutions has an \"immediate opening\" for a Scrum Master , that is passionate about outcomes and supports a development team that's modernizing and creating efficiency in critical projects. You will know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a Scrum Master like you to create solutions that'll support the next generation of advanced public health information technology solutions. On our team, you'll apply your functional knowledge to coach a small development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You'll apply basic Scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems. Using Agile tools, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish Program Increment Objectives and Features. In this role, you'll directly impact the public health environment by working alongside our clients to deliver impactful solutions. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in IT project management and Agile project management while developing and contributing to a variety of project solutions that will ensure success for the delivery of software products in support of public health. Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and road mapping sessions. Coach and support development teams in applying Scrum and Agile practices to achieve sprint goals and Program Increment Objectives. Track team progress, identify and remove impediments, and proactively address risks and challenges impacting delivery. Use Agile project management tools, including JIRA, to manage sprints, backlogs, monitor progress, and improve team visibility. Drive continuous process improvement by analyzing team performance, strengthening Agile practices, and implementing sustainable delivery improvements. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master serving Agile teams Experience with Agile software project management tools, including JIRA and Confluence Experience with facilitating daily stand-up calls, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, road map development and requirements sessions Experience with release planning Knowledge of commercial-off-the-shelf software development and delivery processes Ability to work independently or with minimal direction Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor's degree Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) Additional Qualifications: Experience with User Acceptance Testing Experience with user experience design Experience supporting public health projects Ability to coach a team to better outcomes using process improvement Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills Possession of excellent collaboration skills Possession of excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Security Requirements: Must be US Citizen and with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Public Trust 5) within a reasonable period Market competitive salary, commensurate with experience and education Comprehensive benefits package available, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), 401K with company match, growth, and promotion opportunities Notice on Candidate AI Usage Metas Solutions is committed to maintaining a fair and competitive interview process for all candidates, based on their experience, skills, and education.
