The attorney will handle cases primarily in Maricopa County, with occasional appearances in Pinal and Yavapai Counties. Duties Handle criminal defense matters from intake through resolution. Manage an active caseload of approximately 60-70 cases. Conduct client intakes and assist with signing new matters. Appear regularly in court for hearings, conferences, and motions. Conduct client meetings, negotiations, and motion practice. Prepare cases for trial and try cases when appropriate. Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support firm operations. Opportunity to assist on personal injury matters as experience develops. Requirements Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona. 3-5 years of criminal defense or prosecution experience preferred. Experience handling both misdemeanor and felony matters. Comfortable appearing in court and litigating contested issues. Willing to take cases to trial when necessary. Strong client-facing communication, judgment, and professionalism. Able to manage a full caseload independently. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Arizona. Skills Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Confident, professional, and empathetic with clients. Organized and dependable in managing a busy docket.
