About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Health Affairs and Dean of the College of Medicine to lead the advancement of medical education, biomedical research, and academic health partnerships. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in teaching, research, and service, holding an MD or equivalent clinical doctoral degree. This role involves providing strategic leadership to enhance the College of Medicine's and Academic Health Sciences Center's impact, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring the institution meets the evolving healthcare and workforce needs of the state. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and diversifying clinical partnerships, expanding the research enterprise, and securing extramural funding. They should be adept at managing complex relationships, be people-centered, and committed to the mission of the College of Medicine. Applicants for the Vice President for Health Affairs and Dean of the College of Medicine at the company should have a strong administrative background, the ability to articulate and execute a clear vision, and a commitment to innovation in medical education and patient care.
