Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while working closely with various professionals in a hospice setting. You will be part of a dynamic mental health team that operates with a shared goal of fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for both clients and their families. While the standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts, rotating weekend duties, and on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored for students with diverse and unique special needs.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that address the mental health and emotional wellbeing of each student.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques when providing therapy for conditions such as ASD, ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist in personal development, emotional regulation, and the adoption of effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with educators, occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure integrated care and enhanced student outcomes.
\n
• Provide support during mental health crises, delivering timely and appropriate interventions.
\n
• Educate students and families regarding mental health issues and the resources available to support them.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education sessions to foster professional growth.

This position focuses on serving a population of students facing significant challenges, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD. Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure: A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, ideally in settings that involve the management of special needs populations.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to suit the specific needs of clients.

• A background in crisis intervention strategies and the ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
