Job Summary

Oversee all operations of 150 bed hospital-based nursing home, including 50 bed rehabilitation unit returning 600 patients to the community annually, participate on Health System administrative committees. Plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate all areas of the nursing home operation in accordance with established policies and procedures based on Federal and State Legislation.

Qualifications:

Knowledge Required:

-Minimum 10 years relevant progressive management experience in a healthcare setting

-Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting

-Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Demonstrates leadership ability

-Knowledge of New York State and Federal Regulations governing long term care

-Ability to work with a variety of computerized software

-Knowing that financial viability is essential to provide care and services

Working Relationships :
New York State Department of Health : Experience with DOH Annual Unannounced Surveys, Reporting of Required Regulatory Data and responding to Incidents or Complaints reported.

Education and Experience:

-Master's in Business Administration or related field preferred; Bachelor's degree required in healthcare or related field.

-SNF Administrator License Required

-Minimum 10 years relevant progressive management experience in a healthcare setting

Salary:

$205,000 - $230,000
