We are seeking an experienced Junior Accountant with strong technical skills and exceptional attention to detail to support financial reporting, tax preparation, and client advisory work.

Qualifications:

• BA in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting firm
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Experience in preparing financial statements and other financial reporting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Microsoft Office, Lacerte and solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skill

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions for client accounts, including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and accounts payable/receivable
• Assist with payroll, expense tracking, and general ledger activities
• Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients
• Assist in preparing individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Full-time or part-time (flexible schedule available)
• Competitive pay: $30–$40/hour or $60,000–$85,000/year DOE
