Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload by establishing strong rapport with clients and providing a consistent and trustworthy therapeutic presence.

• Conduct regular client sessions to monitor progress, discuss treatment plans, and manage upcoming appointments effectively.

• Assess individual needs through comprehensive intake assessments and collaboratively develop personalized, person-centered treatment plans.

• Document client interactions meticulously, ensuring that progress notes and treatment updates are current and comply with best practices.

• Engage in weekly supervision sessions to discuss case progress and receive constructive feedback aimed toward professional development.

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to provide holistic care to clients, sharing insights and strategies for treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on the outpatient treatment of individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances. Counselors will work with a diverse client base, adapting therapeutic strategies to meet differing needs effectively. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in facilitating positive adjustments and empowering clients to work towards their recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical outpatient setting post-graduation is necessary.

• Proficiency in using digital tools and software, such as Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, and electronic health record systems, is essential.

• Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services and comfort with conducting intake assessments are crucial.
