Job Description:Business Analyst - payments experienceLocation- Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MNIn this role, candidate will:Act as a liaison between the business client and technical organization by planning, conducting and directing the analysis of complex business problemsLead requirements elicitation sessions to understand business problems and how proposed system enhancements address them while assessing impact to existing functionality and business processesLead or participate in grooming sessions, author user stories, attend size/commit sessions, provide feedback in retrospectivesResponsible for producing business requirement artifacts - including Use Cases, Business and Message Rules, User Stories, Supplemental (non-functional) Specifications, Business Validation Plans, and collaborate with stakeholders on large and complex projectsEngaged throughout the project life cycle, from inception through post-install transitionWork directly with all levels through senior management across the organization and be considered as a high-level expertSelf-starter, work well under tight deadlines and be comfortable working with technical and business teamsWork with user groups to develop training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and perform necessary requirements-gathering activitiesDesired Qualifications:Experience with using AI tools to capture business requirements and accelerate workDemonstrated ability to define, measure, and achieve business outcomes by establishing baseline metrics, setting target performance goals, and tracking progress to realizationExperience working with the following applications J-Systems, Ops Online (1CBR), PYPP, 1CWK, GMTS or EMTSBusiness Analyst experiencePayments experience within ISO20022, Wires, SWIFT, ACH, Sanctions, Investigations, electronic payments and/or other related paymentsExperience in projects in an agile environment, implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery mind-setKnowledge of Jira and ConfluenceExperience in writing user stories within an Agile environmentExperience partnering with line of business to gather business requirementsExperience identifying inefficiencies, finding opportunities to streamline business processes, and implementing changeProcess improvement experienceStrong root cause analysis skillsFinancial services industry experienceRisk management and mitigation experienceProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)Ability to manage multiple and competing prioritiesAbility to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectivesAbility to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team membersExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsOutstanding problem solving and decision-making skillsStrong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectivesAbility to create and deliver dynamic presentationsIn this assignment, candidates may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Business Execution and contribute to large-scale planning related to Business Execution deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Business Execution challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Business Execution deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
