West Side Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. Our practice specializes in orthopedic care, providing individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Work Environment

Our clinic provides an onsite setting where creativity and collaboration thrive. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while accommodating our patients' needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to understand their unique needs and set rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans employing a variety of evidence-based physical therapy techniques.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and effective care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Document each patient's progress meticulously, tracking treatment effects and making adjustments as necessary to care plans.
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and self-care strategies to encourage active participation in their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and enhance overall patient outcomes.
• Encourage a holistic approach by promoting wellness strategies that address lifestyle choices impacting patients’ physical health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will treat a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be instrumental in helping these patients regain their functionality while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive procedures. Your contributions will directly impact their physical rehabilitation journey, allowing them to return to their daily activities and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid California Physical Therapist license with no outstanding board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficient in creating and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to ensure accurate and efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
