Lecturer AY - Physics and Astronomy

Position Overview Unit: Instructional Faculty - Temporary/Lecturer 1 Location: Pomona, Southern California Type: Temporary, Part Time, On-site Responsibilities Teach assigned lower division courses in the department’s curriculum and serve weekly office hours based on assigned teaching unit load. Assignments may include day, evening, and/or weekend courses. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Physics or related discipline relevant to the curriculum. Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Physics or related discipline. Prior teaching experience at the college or university level and evidence of strong teaching. Salary and Benefits Initial appointments are for one semester only, with salaries prorated to the number of units worked. Salary ranges: Lecturer A/B rank initial salary not to exceed $6,221 per month as of July 2024.
