CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift4-Day Work Week | Aerospace Manufacturing

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

✅ 4-day work week

✅ Shift differential

✅ Overtime available on Fridays

What You'll Do

• Operate and adjust CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine setups
• Read blueprints and GD&T specifications
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot CNC equipment and automated cells
• Work with robotic machine-tending systems
• Follow AS9100 quality and safety standards

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Experience holding tight tolerances
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Aerospace manufacturing experience
• Robotics or automation experience
• Knowledge of G-Code/M-Code and AS9100 standards

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
