Job Story This job is to assist the Campus Recreation Coordinator of Graphicsand Marketing in making and maintaining signs; taking picturesduring programs and events; reviewing and maintaining social mediaand websites, starting and completing projects and campaigns; andother duties as assigned. This job is important. Campus Recreation depends on the Graphicsand Marketing Team to help make events and programs successful. Showing up for shifts and completing tasks in a timely manner isimportant. Job Summary A student assistant will carry out administrative and technicaltasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the studentassistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other studentsor provide support throughout the campus in various forms. Job Duties Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimalsupervision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong written and visual communication skills Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions Basic proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop,Illustrator) Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office Photography, videography, or basic video editing experience Required Education High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6credit hours at Wichita State University. Additional Requirements Portfolio. Please submit a portfolio showcasing previous work inmarketing or content creation is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience creating content for social media, websites, or emailcampaigns Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X,YouTube, etc.) Previous work experience (internship, student job, or freelance) indesign or marketing Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and otherstudents Familiar with graphic layout and visual storytelling Physical Requirements Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate acomputer and other office equipment including but not limited tophone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
