Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health, considering emotional, behavioral, and social factors that affect their overall well-being.

• Develop tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring each plan aligns with the unique needs and goals of patients facing mental health conditions, especially those related to substance use.

• Deliver psychotherapy sessions through virtual platforms, using techniques suited to the patient's preferences and needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness approaches.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to create a seamless care experience for patients.

• Regularly monitor patient progress, utilizing established metrics and treatment goals to assess efficacy and make necessary adjustments to care strategies.

• Provide education to patients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping mechanisms, and community resources available for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on patients recovering from substance use disorders and associated mental health challenges. You will work with individuals facing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). By fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship, you will assist clients on their path toward recovery and improve their overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, equipped with the necessary theoretical knowledge and clinical skills.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
