Our client is a US company that works with a short list of large accounts. The contracts are big and the clients are demanding, so losing one is a real hit to the year. At this level the client is not buying deliverables, they are buying confidence. This seat exists to produce it.

About the Role

You own a small book of large accounts from kickoff to renewal. Fewer clients, much bigger, and every one of them expects to be treated like they matter. Your mornings are calls with client stakeholders, reading the room and catching risk before it turns into a cancellation. Your afternoons are making sure every commitment the company made actually lands.

You are the person the client calls first, and the person who makes sure they never have a reason to call anyone else.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of accounts end to end: onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion.
• Run regular check-ins and quarterly business reviews that tie the work back to the client's numbers.
• Track account health and get ahead of risk long before the renewal conversation.
• Be the single point of contact and coordinate delivery internally so nothing slips between teams.
• Find and open expansion conversations inside accounts that are already working.
• Use AI tools to prep calls, summarize accounts, and keep follow-up tight.
• Keep the CRM clean and current so the whole team can trust the account picture.

Who You Are

• You have 4 or more years in customer success or account management, owning the relationship and the renewal, not just coordinating.
• You have run client calls in English with senior stakeholders. Your spoken and written English is strong.
• You read people and risk well, and you move before a problem becomes a cancellation.
• You are organized to a fault. Nothing you promise falls through.
• You think commercially. You connect what the client needs to renewal and expansion.
• You are comfortable with numbers and can explain what the account data says.

Bonus Points

• You have owned accounts paying five figures a month, or worked with US clients directly.
• Agency, consulting or professional services background.
• Hands-on with HubSpot, Salesforce, Gainsight or ClickUp.
• You have turned an at risk account around, or grown one after taking it over.
• You already fold AI into your daily workflow.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days

• By day 30 you know every account in your book, their health, their renewal date, and who really makes the decision.
• By day 60 you have run business reviews with your top accounts and you have a plan for each renewal.
• By day 90 the client comes to you first, and risk gets caught early instead of at renewal.

Ongoing

• Your accounts renew and your book grows through expansion, not through new logos.
• Nothing the company commits to slips, and the client can see it.
• You turn what you hear from clients into better delivery.
