Travel RN - Operating Room - Ambulatory OR

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Oncology Care position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency in a day-shift, outpatient setting.

Job Details

• Ambulatory care clinic setting serving oncology patients,
• Specialized oncology services include psychosocial support, rehabilitation, fertility preservation, integrative oncology, survivorship care, and adolescent and young adult oncology (ages 15-39),
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM,
• Support staff on unit includes interpretation services, pharmacy, phlebotomy, social services, and unit secretary,
• EMR: Epic experience required,
• Family care clinic, internal medicine, and urgent care experience required,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• Proficiency in clinical assessments including interpretation of lab results, medication reconciliation, patient health questionnaires/history/allergies, and vital signs,
• Experience with procedures including dressing changes and aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup,
• Specimen collection skills required: capillary, venipuncture/phlebotomy, throat, urine (UA/clean catch), and specimen labeling,
• Experience with office duties including pharmacy calls/patient refill requests and telephone triage,
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); Charge RN acceptable as 2nd reference; no coworker references accepted,
