Mechanical Assembler 1st Shift (Hands-On Work, Training, Long-Term Stability)

• Assemble metal hatches and panels using drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, and tape measures.
• Read and interpret blueprints to complete accurate mechanical builds.
• Install insulation, prep panels for painting, and support finishing processes.
• Package completed assemblies, verify order accuracy, and prepare products for shipment.
• Crosstrain in multiple departments to expand your skill set and support production needs.
• Follow safety procedures and proper tool usage in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace similar to an auto body shop.
• Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs as part of daily work.

• 6+ months of mechanical assembly or hands-on mechanical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and take precise measurements.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, torque tools, etc.).
• Reliable, detailoriented, and able to work independently once trained.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive, metal fabrication, or similar environments is a plus.
• Interest in working on unique, highprofile projects that require craftsmanship.

Metal manufacturing environment similar to an auto body shop (dust/dirt typical of fabrication). Steeltoed boots required; pants and short or longsleeve shirts only.

• MonThu: 5:30 a.m.3:00 p.m.
• Fri: 5:30 a.m.9:30 a.m.
• Overtime: MonFri 5:30 a.m.3:00 p.m. (extended Friday)

WBP Department:

• MonThu: 5:00 a.m.2:30 p.m.
• Fri: 5:00 a.m.9:00 a.m.
• Overtime: MonFri 5:00 a.m.2:30 p.m. (extended Friday)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Brooklyn Park,MN.
