Technical Sales Engineer

Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Technical Sales Engineer role involves working directly with customers to understand application requirements, select appropriate pump and RhinoStak™ system solutions, and prepare quotes and proposals. Daily responsibilities include providing technical support, conducting site visits, collaborating with the service and engineering teams on installations and repairs, and following up with customers to ensure successful system performance. The role involves managing a sales pipeline, maintaining accurate documentation in CRM tools, and supporting product demonstrations and presentations. The Technical Sales Engineer will also contribute feedback to improve products and services and represent Rhino Pumps professionally in the field. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills for identifying customer needs, developing solutions, and closing opportunities. Candidates should possess Sales Engineering skills to bridge technical pump knowledge with practical application and system design. Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, recommend corrective actions, and assist customers with system operation. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear customer interaction, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams. Experience with industrial or municipal pump systems, fluid mechanics, or rotating equipment is highly beneficial. Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and schematics, and to work safely at customer sites. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
