Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable SpecialistOur client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesProcess high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timelyMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentsReview and verify invoice coding and approvalsPrepare and process weekly check, ACH, and wire paymentsReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesRespond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationshipsAssist with month-end closing activities and AP reportingMaintain accurate vendor records and documentationEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting proceduresQualifications3-5 years of Accounts Payable experienceAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systemsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft DynamicsExperience processing high-volume invoicesKnowledge of month-end close proceduresBenefitsCompetitive compensationHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth opportunitiesJob Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Westbrook, ME.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
