Marketing Assistant

Overview

VCBO Architecture is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team in Salt Lake City. This is a hands-on role for someone looking to grow their marketing experience while contributing across a variety of projects, including content creation, events, marketing campaigns, pursuit support, and day-to-day marketing initiatives.

You’ll work closely with our marketing team, designers, and other staff across the firm to help tell VCBO’s story, support business development efforts, and keep marketing projects moving. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, creative, collaborative, and excited to build a career in marketing within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing projects and campaigns from concept through completion, working with internal teams, external partners, and vendors as needed.
• Plan and support conferences, project milestone events, firm events, promotional activities, and other marketing initiatives.
• Create and coordinate marketing content, including social media posts, website content, presentations, brochures, mailers, award submissions, and other communications.
• Support proposals, presentations, and other pursuit materials by coordinating with project teams and gathering relevant information.
• Help maintain VCBO’s website, intranet, CRM data, and other marketing platforms and resources.
• Coordinate project photography, branded materials, promotional items, and other marketing needs.
• Provide general support to the marketing team and assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with social media platforms and creating content for digital or print communications.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
• Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders across the firm.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) software, or project management tools is a plus.
